A barber shop-style choir introduce us to "Tom", "Dick" and "Larry" - the ever popular "Dover" boys who are having a day out from their university with one local lady of good quality. Meantime, "Dan Backslide" has eyes on the self same, rich, "Dora Standpipe" and clad in his very bright purple suit sets out to spoil their day! Disguised (?) in a garb that would have suited "Clouseau" he interrupts…
