Do I need to create an account?
No account is required. MovieDB generates a private profile for you automatically stored on your device, which keeps your bookmarks and watch progress synced on that device.
Where does MovieDB get its data?
MovieDB is a video aggregation service and crawls public video sites and APIs to help you discover new tv shows, movies and other trending content.
Can I install MovieDB as an app?
Yes. MovieDB is a Progressive Web App (PWA). On most browsers you can "Add to Home screen" or install it to your desktop, TV or phone for an app-like experience.
How do I import or export my watchlist?
Open Settings and use the Import / Export buttons. Your watchlist and history are stored as a portable JSON file you can back up or move between devices.
