I have to say that this was quite the disappointment. There is a prequel to this movie called His: I Didn't Think I Would Fall in Love. The prequel was excellent and well worth watching. Shun and Nagisa first meet and fall in love during their first year of high school. While Shun is graduating from university, Nagisa tells him that he doesn't see a future for them.
