There’s a couple drops of originality here and there for the genre, but overall the story doesn’t reel you in at all. The cool visual aspects are dropped very quickly, and the conveniences of the plot take you out of the movie a little. Sometimes mystery heightens a film. Often, in fact. Here it does not.
